Carys refers to herself as Carys, me or I UNTIL ...

someone asks what her name is and then she'll say -

Ruby G.. (her surname) everytime!!!

Charlotte is of an age to say her own name well.
She went through a phase of calling Sophia 'Soph' which was kind of weird since we never call her Soph.

Kingston can't say Kingston, so he calls himself "Chicken". It's very cute. Unfortunately now we also call him Chicken, & when DH was picking him up at preschool on thurs one of the teachers called him Chicken. Samantha calls herself 'Sam'. Nice and simple. She calls Anthony ' tany' or more often he is just 'bubba'

Cian's only just starting with his words too - the only name he's got for someone other than me and DH is his uncle Dan, who he calls "da-da"... can't figure out if it's cause "dan" sounds like "da" or cause he heard his cousin calling dan "daddy" and just thinks that's his name

Caprece calls herself Peecey, Jack calls her Freecey and I call her Precey mainly.

Then Eimear figured out Aoifes name. However Aoife decided that Eimear should be called 'Aoife' too.

Now they call each other by their names.

Sam calls himself Sam, but that's a pretty easy one I guess. He always refers to himself in the third person.

I love "Toey"

Hannah calls herself "Hannah" or "Hannie" when looking at photos or in the mirror. She hasn't grasped first person yet.
When she's being naughty (and knows it) she'll say "Han-MAY!" (Hannah May) and laugh.

Hehehe that's cute Nikki.   When chosing a name we never factored in the fact that many toddlers find the "j" sound difficult to master ... so our little guy called himself "Dimmy" for a while .   Thankfully he's moved on to "Jimmy" or "I" or "me" now .

Jake calls himself dakob or sometimes dake - we usually call him Jake, but daycare quite often say Jakob and we do refer to him as Jakob -- he also says used his surname now. Tom calls himself Tom...or Me. If you ask him his name he will say Thomas Jack L........ He's grasped the me, you thing but I still chuckle when he announces "I Awake!!" when he wakes up. Maddi has just started saying her own name, every time she looks in the mirror, looks at photos or is really just talking about herself.

The funny thing is she calls herself "Ma'sin" (Madison) I know it is her name but most of the time we call her Maddi..??!? Go figure.
