If they come back low then the pessaries can help (low progesterone can cause MC), however if they are high (and at a 'normal' level) then it wouldnt make any difference, as the progesterone would be sufficient to support the pregnancy already.<br />GL hun and I hope you have a sticky bean soon]]>

So I hope that is accurate, because ill move ahead (now that I have apparently miscarried) and try again and hope that I don't need supplementation. ]]>

It is the first pregnancy that I have made it past the first trimester in, in fact past 8 weeks.  Definitely have a chat to them...I don't think our girls would be here without the pessaries.]]>

Fingers crossed the embryo sticks for you. I would definitley recommend that you phone FA. I know a lady who has have two failed cycles and is now pregnant naturally and FA Hamilton has monitored the beginning of her pregnancy and even did her 8 week scan... so good luck!!! ]]>

My GP said she's not prepared to commit an answer because it's outside of her field of expertise....<br /><br />With my last frozen transfer, it was suggested that I use the Utrogestan (progesterone) pessaries to support the embryo (that preg failed). I am today 5 weeks and 5 days preg (naturally!) and its struggling a bit and may not be viable I don't know, I thought it had miscarried this am but the HCG has also very slowly climbed so I don't know what's going on. Should I / could I use the pessaries to support it. Can it hurt? <br /><br />Not sure who else to ask, I could phone FA but I'm not currently a patient.
