Someone suggested covering mattress in tinfoil - before baby arrives and temporarily of course, so cats get a fright when they jump on and don't do it again - should work for dogs. Then again if mine were better behaved!

Katep did you get the Mocka mattress too? What's it like?
My pretty big dogs certainly aren't gonna get in there!!

I'm from Germany so the european (no drop side, really basic) design appealed to me right away. And nothing beats that price for a new, unused cot!

I have no problem 'dropping' the baby in. I am short, so maybe that helps? Although, I am regretting that it doesn't have drop sides with being pregnant again.

Also, in Europe they are talking about banning drop sides cos they are the things that usually cause a recall. Are they very low? Now worried about 2 naughty dogs jumping in!!

They don't have drop sides, but are lower to the ground (89cm high, instead of 110cm for most). So I guess you drop baby in instead of lifting up and over or dropping the sides. Also have 2 base heights.

Would love to hear if anyone has one, or has seen one!

Cheers
BC
