Author: LeeG
Subject: 31196
Posted: 26 February 2010 at 9:08am

Hi, we had the tommee tippee monitor to start with but found it really noisey - might have just been some interferance around our house, but we returned it to the shop and they gave us a refund, apparently a couple of people had returned for the same reason. We now have a Philips Avent and it's brilliant, tells us the temperature in her room, can turn volume right down and just use the lights and you can turn on lullabies without actually going into the room - which has been very handy! Just noticed that babycity has $100 off them at the moment so only $150 - seems like a good deal to me.

Abi was in NICU for 10 days to start with and they said she didn't need a movement monitor at home ... but I can totally understand why some people get them for peace of mind!
