I actually felt really crook for a while after I came off the pill. i would definately wait until after!!!! i came off mine at the end of july and my skin (on my back/shoulders) is still HORRIBLE!!!!!!! and i get married in a month! so freaking out.....

but when i did stop it was right at the end of a packet so i had the normal "pill af" and then that cycle was 50 days, they are shortening now though.

Are you going on honeymoon just after the wedding? I continued until after honeymoon so that I could hold my AF off during our lovely holiday. I would wait til after the wedding. Just even take the extra two weeks and then stop the day after your wedding. You will probably get your period a couple of days after stopping.
When I came off the pill my skin was TERRIBLE.
Also it took me a long time to get my period back after coming off the pill (besides the first withdrawal bleed when I stopped), and there were a lot of funny hormonal things happening - like I sweated a lot more for the first couple of months.

Looking for some help here. I'm currently on BCP and cannot wait to come off it, not only to start TTC but I'm just not keen on being on it anymore anyway. I'm getting married in 10 weeks, and I have enough of my pill to last me till about 2 weeks before the wedding. My DF and I have decided that I will come off the BCP after we get married. I'm wondering if I should end my BCP 2 weeks before my wedding or get another month. My sensible side tells me to suck it up and go see the Dr and get another month of it as I don't know how my body will react coming off it. I don't want AF to arrive unexpectedly, or my skin to go haywire, but at the same time I think it would be so good to come off it! I guess I know what I should do, just wondering what experiences anyone has had coming off BCP.
