Gutted my temp took a nose dive this morning :( was sort of disturbed though so not totally trusting it but I think cos I o'd later this cycle I might be going to have a 31 day cycle. I need to adjust chart I got what was close to a positive OPK on Wednesday morning, then tested that afternoon and wasn't any test line, BD Wednesday night just in case, then used my last test Thursday morning and got a very very strong positive so was supposed to BD last night but I was so so tired I fell asleep, we can try tonight I suppose. Mummyinc when was the last time you bd?  I am sure it will be fine.  They say you have a whole fertile week around ovulation and sperm can live up to 5 days waiting for that egg Smile

Got a big temp jump this morning but did a test and negative so maybe my body is just tricking me!
I did have a spike last cycle at cd29 and it fell the following day so I guess I'll see what happens tomorrow with it before I get my hopes up too much

Wow I have midsection alot, have been trying not to obsess so much so haven't been online. CONGRATULATIONS to those with bfp! Hope they stick! And nell, must be such a relief! And an easy fix.
I have just finshed spotting was never enough to class as a period but I haven't ovulated. I think majority of my cycles i don't ovulate as lengths are on average 45 long some up to 60 and very light periods. Opks are always two lines but never positive from CD 9 to CD45 . Cant wait for answers, I'm beginning to think pcos.

Thanks 2furkids and Kazper. I should have written more in my post, but I was on my phone and short of time. We're still waiting on the results of the 5 fertilized eggs (and two slow pokes that may catch up!). We have to do PGD and get the embies to day 5 then biopsy them... then we wait a few weeks to see if the genetics of the embies is ok... and IF we have any normal ones that make it that far, we'll do a transfer in NOV. So no point charting - just waiting, waiting, waiting!!! Thinking of you as well Kumeroa *hugs*

Appointment went well! I don't have to do more bloods as my positive results from 2013 and 13 weeks ago we're enough for him. So I've finally been diagnosed as having something wrong with me! After 7+ years of 'feeling' something wasn't quite right and having X amount of Drs just ignore me, this is an enormous relief to me.

I have Antiphospholipid Syndrome (otherwise known as Hughes Syndrome which is much easier to say and remember). This is probably most likely the cause of my early miscarriages and missed miscarriages with slow growth.

Treatment is easy! Low dose aspirin everyday, if the next pregnancy doesn't work steroids are the next step. He said he doesn't want to try steroids right away as they can have long term bad effects for me.

Kristy, I personally discard temps taken after already waking up previously (like I did this morning!). As to me having a rested temp is more important then the same time. But you'll know with tomorrow's temp if you should use today's high or low one anyway :)

Question for you ladies
I woke up at 5am thought I'd take temp to see what it was it was 36.3, took it an hour later after going straight back to sleep and it was 36.57. Are you able to add my chart to the list? Also need a little help I did a OPK this morning it was allllmost a positive like the test line was obvious but not darker then or as dark as the control, so decided to test again this arvo ad expected it to get darker and got nothing at all like zero test line? What gives? Thanks ladies first blood test done. Thanks Kasper the only pills I'm taking are DIM & Folic acid So they must be doing something good for my temps.

I'd say you're just over 5 weeks now (6 this Sunday), so hopefully a scan this week if you're a higher side hcg producer! By 5 weeks they can definitely see the sac anyway, so at the very least you'd be able to make sure it's in the right place. At the best you'll already see a heartbeat. A little bit excited for you!! Yeah they do bloods first then scan at 6 ish weeks will be pushing for 5.5 weeks lol. Just wish my body would be normal
Nurses were very good at my docs when I rung today. Ok ladies so I think history is repeating itself. I thought I had AF a week or so ago. In the last 4 days I have been super tired and feeling the odd twinge so tested and definite bfp

Very scared of it being ectopic again as this is how last one started. Grrrrrr

Oh wow Thursday! I really hope that you can start trying this cycle Nell. Surely your specialist will get you on to treatment if he/she knew you could be pregnant again.

2FurKids I have heard that temp can fluctuate in pregnancy. I hope I will have the strength to stay away from thermometer lol who knows

Oh Nell, I'm not sure what I am up to - it seems I can't stop temping!!! I am not sure if it is just habit or if I find it reassuring, will probably worry if it drops! I think I need to step away from the thermometer......

Loving your chart now Kaz Looks so much smoother now, in general aye? Compared to previous charts - even though it's using a 2DP! So interesting!

Hi mummyinc, I decided to test the morning of our last night in raro (12DPO) as if it was negative I wanted to enjoy a cocktail during happy hour before leaving, but ended up remaining on the mocktails! I did have a few strange signs that I don't often get (sensitive nipples and cramping from 3DPO) but know that our bodies play tricks on us when TTC so wasn't getting excited or reading into it too much. Strangely after being so obsessive over the last few months and counting down the days until we started TTC, I have been very relaxed about it, was still umming and ahhing over the testing and still don't actually believe it, keep expecting AF to show up! Temp is still sitting high so I guess that is a good sign?

No advice on how to stop obsessing, I was really relieved to get past ov actually so we could relax and not have to BD unless we wanted to!! You do get used to it hanger, as soon as I wake up now it's the first thing I think of, just take it in the dark and go back to sleep if I want to :)

Hey Ladies, I suppose now we have upgraded to actively TTC this is where I should be :) Will share my chart shortly need some updating as I have been using Kindara on my iPhone instead of FF, Im CD8 today and MIL is coming to stay next weekend so im WILLING my self to Ovulate Thursday lol
just my luck itll happen when she is here....BTW we are co sleepers who usually use the spare room....where she will be sleeping lol

Congratulations 2furkids. Yes a midwife can give all the scripts. Midwife is also better for bloods as give you the results the same day where as at the dr it is usually the next day.

Kazper great temp rise!

OMG I just got the most positive OPK. Was completely negative this morning so I was shocked when I took one at 4pm and the test line was darker than the control. I was so excited you would have thought I got a positive pregnancy test. I'm Mad that we didn't BD last night as I was too down. 2FurKids I would see a midwife. She will confirm pregnancy with bloods like any dr any way.
It's normal for line to be fainter than control this early on and yes cramps are normal. Thanks ladies and sorry I haven't been on sooner, been too busy to sit down! I decided to test on the second to last morning so that if it was negative I could enjoy a cocktail, what a strange feeling seeing that second line pop up, I wasn't too sure how to feel and I don't know if I really believe it or not, bit nervous that it wont last and keep taking temp to check it is still high... will test again at some stage to check line has gotten darker, it was not as dark as the control line when I tested.

Couple of questions - get two or three bouts of decent cramps during the day - is this normal? Like AF cramps but nothing to accompany them? Also, I know I need to find a midwife, but do I need to see my doctor too? YAY finally a steady rise showing on your chart Kaz I must say, I am extremely chuffed at what the massage has done for you. And so wish I went when I had a booking in April! I cancelled because I was feeling way too emo after the D&C. So understandable but still wish I went. She doesn't come to Wellington very often!

Tricky isn't it Bre I would keep entering spotting until you get full on need to wear a pad or whatever bleeding. Is this your longest cycle yet? Or have you had one longer?

still no positive OPK for me. But I bought a new Thermometer off trade me today so should get that soon and well start temping. Man it sucks how you have to go through a CP then your cycle gets messed up. I just want to get trying again :(.
