You could try to repair it, but it really depends on where the rip is? Ie, if it's close to the pocket opening where you can get a sewing machine in to patch it up, then it may be doable.

If you do want to, it would be best to use a sewing machine and cut out a patch, use polyester thread as cotton would wick.. then put it through the dryer on hot to help seal any puncture holes.

I was getting DS changed after swimming today and managed to get his baby cheeks nappy caught on a sharp part on the change table It's put a hole about the size of a pea or slightly bigger right the way through the outer fabric.
