    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=18936">kiwikid</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 33007<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 26 April 2010 at 8:38pm<br /><br />Unfortunately I've never found that a later bed time alters the wake up time and at least with an early bed time you get your evenings to relax!<br /><br />DS wakes really early when he's teething and a bit unsettled and then usually comes right within a week.  <br /><br />I have heard some kids are just early risers <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0"> <br />DS is almost 21mths, goes to bed around 7.30pm (as DH doesnt get home til 7pm) and is up around 6.30 / 7am, has a 2/3hr sleep during the day.<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by kiwikid</span>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=17893">KiwiL</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 33007<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 22 April 2010 at 8:56pm<br /><br />Jackson is in bed by 7:30pm latest (sometimes earlier) and we wake him at 6:45am (to get ready for day care).<br /><br />On the weekends he will sleep until about 7:30am, though since day light savings ended it is a bit earlier (waiting for the mornings to get darker again!!!).<br /><br />He only has a sleep of about an hour during the day, though on weekends it can be about two hours. He is extremely busy and active (hyperactive) so I think he really wears himself out. <br /><br />I read that babies about this age need around 13 - 14 hours of sleep a day, so Ava isn't really too far off that amount.]]>

DS was waking early a couple of months back but he is now sleeping through til 7am mostly - for us it goes in phases and there doesn't seem to be anything we can do to change thigs so I just ride it out <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0"> ]]>

During the week she goes to DC and has one sleep between an hour to two hours, at the weekend she has a morning and afternoon nap if she needs both.  She is very active and is still running around at bedtime.]]>
