Unfortunately I've never found that a later bed time alters the wake up time and at least with an early bed time you get your evenings to relax!

DS wakes really early when he's teething and a bit unsettled and then usually comes right within a week.

I have heard some kids are just early risers
DS is almost 21mths, goes to bed around 7.30pm (as DH doesnt get home til 7pm) and is up around 6.30 / 7am, has a 2/3hr sleep during the day.

7pm here :) Usually they wake around 7am. hmph. Well a later bedtime didnt work. She was still up between 5-5.30am. Jeez, we should've gone to the dawn ceremony this morning - we were WIDE awake at 5am that is for sure! I'm not sure what to do from here. Jackson is in bed by 7:30pm latest (sometimes earlier) and we wake him at 6:45am (to get ready for day care).

On the weekends he will sleep until about 7:30am, though since day light savings ended it is a bit earlier (waiting for the mornings to get darker again!!!).

He only has a sleep of about an hour during the day, though on weekends it can be about two hours. He is extremely busy and active (hyperactive) so I think he really wears himself out.

I've found this as well. Hi, bubs is 18 months and she goes to bed between 8-8.30pm and is normally awake 7am or just after (unfortunately waking a bit at night due to teething at the moment though). During the week she goes to DC and has one sleep between an hour to two hours, at the weekend she has a morning and afternoon nap if she needs both. Cian's in bed at 7 - 7.30 at the absolute latest and used to wake up around 6.30/7am... but since daylight savings we've been getting the 5.30 wake-up too

Ava is currently going to bed at 7pm and waking at 5.30am (yawn!).

Im wondering if she is going to bed too early, hence the early wake up time and I am interested to know what time other toddlers around her age go to bed.
