They're still littlies.

DS is 3 1/2 and we have been TT for over a year. No trouble with wees, but no. 2's are a real problem

We have even gone back to pull-ups because I was getting stressed having to wash the undies out every day. We had the same problem where we would just have the discussion about how he was a big boy now and where would he do his poo's "on the toilet mum" would be the response and not 5 mins would go by and he would have pooed in his undies.

It's a long hard road in our house. Hope DD will be easier.

Good luck to all those mum's out there trying!

Any pressure we put on Ella just made it worse.
Just relax and focus on not letting your frustration or impatience show.
When she was on the toilet for wees we'd always ask her if there were any poos there too and then we'd say 'Oh well, maybe next time eh?'
I'd read stories to her and sing songs when she was willing to sit and try, to make it fun for her but always let her get down when she said she wanted to.
We made a big deal of any success too.
Oh, the other thing that helped was putting some loo paper down before she tried because the splash freaked her out.
Good luck!

If there is any anxiety, be patient."
It doesn't really say much else though, other than don't force him, offer encouragement and that he'll get there in the end.

Good luck, hope you get past this!

He is fine with wee (although he does need to be reminded occasionally and almost always gets there slighty too late leaving a residue in his pants!) but absolutely REFUSES to do poo in the toilet. He does a poo every night at around the same time, in his nappy (which he still wears at night) after we have put him to bed. He has even done it while we are standing there talking to him about how he has to do his poo in the toilet. I fear it is becoming a real emotional issue with him and don't know how to resolve this! Any suggestions???
