Hi,

I'm Swedish as well and I am part of a playgroup in Wellington. We are movign to Dunedin so will unfortunately not be able to stay with our surrent playgroup. I hope you manage to find some Swedish people in Chch, I agree that it is nice to have the language spoken by others aroudn and especially spoken by other little children. It is soo cute to hear them mixing the languages. Hi there

Are there any other swedish mums or dads in Chch that are keen to catch up every now and then?
I have lived in NZ for 13 yrs and have never been interested in finding/catching up with other swedes before. But now I really want my daugter to learn swedish. DH doesn't speak swedish and I don't have any swedish friends in NZ. DD has only just turned 1 so not talking yet but I think it would be great if she could hear the language on a regular basis and not just from me.
