Wahoo well done on making it down south! Moving is a bit of a pain huh but will be good once you are settled in and sorted out. I'm keen for a walk along the beach/waterfront cause you are in Tahuna right ? Oooh Jealous, QT!! We have family in Arrowtown and i love it there (lived in Dunners for 9 years too so love the Sth!).  Yeap were big on the old outdoors, cycling, running, swimming etc etc...can't wait!!!

 

Have you joined in on the chat in the Fec 2010 thread, it's so nice chatting to people with kiddlets the same age.  And me being a 1st time mum (and having no clue) its good to see what the pro's (more than 1 kid) say

Yeah grew up in Glenfield but haven't lived there for about 13 years now! Been living down south for the last 8 years or so, 6 years in Queenstown and moved Nelson just before I had my older boy. I luv having two boys, my 2 year old can be full on at times but also lovely too :-) My little boy was born on feb 21st so just turned 5 months.
I am actually coming to Aucks in a weeks time, I enjoy visiting family and friends but is way too busy for me now that I am used to living in smaller places. How are you finding having 2 wee boys? Hey Cinders, I'm new to OB and am also living in Nelson, its great! I grew up in Glenfield so lived on the north shore too! I have two little boys 2.5 years and 5 months. You will enjoy being in Tahuna by the beach especially as your girl gets older. I live in Stoke and would be keen for walking buddy as good excuse to exercise :-) There is lots you can do here with babies/kids especially as they get older. Yeah she's great, a right pain when you want to feed her and all she wants to do is talk....... but I don't really mind. Lol Zoe seems to be the top name right now, there are 3 ladies in the april 10 thread that have girls called Zoe! Wow good luck with the business, my DF is trying to do the same as well. It is great having lots of family around, you will enjoy it. Yeah my husband has landed an IT job there and also in the beginnings of starting his own business, very exciting! His parents live there and he was brought up there as a child.  My family is from the UK so were looking forward to having some G-parents around for Sabine.

 

Oh how cool she is a chatterbox, just makes you smile from one side of your face to the other hey! Zoe is such a lovely name!

Zoe is great, a very happy smiley baby, she is just starting to giggle, not quite their yet tho. She has managed to roll over twice from on her tummy, but I think it was more to do with her head pulling her over while her arm was tucked right under! She is a BIG talker tho, I think im going to have a chatterbox on my hands soon!

Wakefield is nice, we live on the main road just in the edge of town. We rent and have a nice big house with a good garden for me to torture and mess about in! Its a nice community out here. My grandparents have a dairy farm so we go out there reguarly to visit.

Yeah everything is pretty close, you can get out in the whop whops within 1/2 hour unlike auckland! We have been having some great weather lately too, frost most nights but fantastic days afterwards. Tahuna is a nice place to live, i used to live up on the hills. Hey Cinders, im a nelson girl, I would be keen to meet up sometime- I do live out in wakefield- about 15mins away but thats no issue. Another idea is to contact the nelson plunket and they will let you know when the next meet up is.
