I think that has more to do with our first attempt of ICSI not working and not the pressure is sort of off and if it works well then we will be beyond excited & if it doesn't, well, we have been there before. We haven't told anyone when it is either to take some pressure off!

I have my first blood test on Friday - Day 8 so I assume the transfer will be late next week?
It is actually perfect timing as DH & I have two weeks annual leave starting August 16th!

We have two blasties frozen. One Grade 1 and one she said has some minor cell damage but still looked good.
Our first attempt was with an 8 cell Day 3 embie so I'm feeling a lot more hopeful with the blastie.

Sorry fo rteh novel, I'm just feeling rather excited about all this now! Thanks guys!

We had 1 damaged cell but anything greater than 50% is viable.

I believe a blastocyst is probably a better success rate than an embryo because they have already developed further i.e. just as all eggs don't fertilise, and all fertilised eggs don't develop into blastocysts, a blastocyst has already got past all those hurdles.

Compared to IVF, the FET was just like IUI or a smear. Our implantation was done in my lunchbreak during a particularly stressful time for me, and it all turned out good for us! Good luck.

ETA spelling

Edited by ItchyFeet

Well I never really left but been laying low recently after our BFN - Found that the emotional stuff hit a few weeks after and have been feeling pretty bleh for a while.

We are coming up to doing our first FET & I was just wondering a couple of things;

1. Does anyone have ANY success stories to give us some hope!?

2. What day do they put the Embryo back in? I'm assuming it is around the time of natural ovulation?

3. We have a Day 5 Blastie going back in so does that change the day that it would go back in as opposed to a Day 3 Embie?

Any help would be great, they explained this all very briefly when we got our BFN but I was too busy trying not to throw up and bawl my eyes out!

Hope everyone else is doing FABULOUSLY!
