big hugs hun

with all my miscarriages, i got mine excatly 4 wks to the day (so if i miscarried on the 5th, then the 5th of the next month i got my af).

Hugs Hun - it just sucks!
My cycle needed a couple of extra weeks to sort itself out after the MC - apparently it can extend that first cycle by 1-4 weeks before you get your next AF.

I had a scan at 6 weeks. Lost it that same day. But to answer your question....different for everyone and how far along you were. I'm assuming you were told from a scan or HCG levels rather than bleeding? If that's the case you won't get AF until the hormone levels drop enough that your body doesn't think it's pregnant anymore. For my fist pregnancy I found out on my 13 week scan that I had a missed miscarriage and it had stopped growing at around 8 weeks. I waited another 6 and still no natural miscarriage (so 11 weeks after it had stopped) so I had a D&C. After that my cycles pretty much went straight back to their normal. But I've heard lots of different stories on here so no clear answer unfortunately.

Monday just gone I was told I had miscarried and was wondering how soon after a m/c AF can start? I know it can take ages but I was wondering how soon it can be.
