Im thinking seriously about continuing with Hunters vaccinations too. thats an interesting point...about allergies starting after the 3mth jabs...Cory was 9wks when his allergies started.

I have decided not to give Oliver any more of his vaccines cos i am scared he will react to them. and even after getting all the vaccines you are not guaranteed protection, thats why they have to have 3 lots of the first ones.

He had the 6 weeks and 3 months but all of his allergy stuff started after the 3 month ones. My sister's son was very badly allergic to egg to and was fine with his imms. I was told something about the egg white being really minimal as well, I can't recall exactly but it was even those with egg allergies were fine having the imms.

We've delayed for other reasons and are getting them in a few weeks. Nat is highly allergic to egg, but I'm pleased to say the 15 month jabs went fine (admittedly we delayed them till about 18 months). We did separate them out, so they 2 that have albumin in them (MMR and i think maybe the Hib one - can't remember for sure right now!) were given about a month apart. She didn't react at all, and was even totally fine afterwards (a first for her!)

The actual amount of albumin that remains in the vaccine after very stringent purification is so so tiny, so they chances of reacting are very small.... we had it done in the GP office as normal, but sounds like it would be best to have it done with more supervision for your boy!

ETA: actually i think the only with albumin is the mmr, the other one I was concerned about may have just have lactose in it...

Cory is due for his 15mths immusations next month and when talking to the doctor yesterday, because he is allergic to egg white he will need to have his immusations (mainly the mmr) done under hospital supervision.

Has anyone else done this and was it ok?
