Well today is the big D day, im up already (5.30am) couldnt sleep lstnite mind was going over time, I will head for my BT at 7.30 n then wait for the big phone call this afternoon. Im not 100% positive im gna get the result i want but hey who would be? All i can say is im so grateful for expericening IVF and coming this far.I would do it again, Im aware of what could be the problem now why i couldnt conceive naturally (i can produce follie,sperm can get to them and fertilise but my eggs are not great and die off b4 they can produce) so that wouldnt help. Yes "unexplained infertility" are terrible words. You expect in this day and age they have a diagnosis and remedy for everything! Good luck with getting it all sorted.

My blood test is on Thursday and still no sign of AF so I have my fingers crossed constantly for this time.

Hi Lafemme, please don't feel bad, I'm quietly quite happy that they may have now finally found something thats causing our "Unexplained Infertility" (hate those words!!) and getting on with getting the problem fixed. Plus I was doing a Transfer so no waiting involved, I just ring when I'm ready with Day 1.

Anyway, enough rambling, how are you going? Hopefully still no sign of AF? What day is your BT?

Hi 4x4mudgirl, hang in there, remember it only takes one, and I'm sure your Dr wouldn't do the transfer if he thought there wasn't a chance that its going to work. Its really hard in the 2ww, it tends to do everybodies head in, I know!! But theres heaps of support on these forums so feel free to vent/chat/ask questions etc. Whens your BT?

Hi all, Well i thought id share my story, Im 26 years and have been ttc for 5.5years, im just doing my first roucd of IVF as the doctor cant explain my infertility. Im up to the 2WW game atm. I found injecting myself and BT easy as, the only side effect i got was the odd mood swing but as my partner says nothing he couldnt handle I run a business so i managed to take a few days off for rest which helped ez the load. Hey Lafemme, didn't want to read and run. Hang in there, not long to go now.

The 2ww is awful and time just drags I know. Try remain positive, the fact that AF hasn't shown has to be a good sign.

There is a few of us going through the process at the moment and I know there is at least one in the 2ww in the IVF chat thread. Come and join us over there.

Hi all

I'm not good at the abbreviations so forgive me if I don't use them. I am currently in day 6 on my 2ww, I have had two IVF cycles before with no success, this is my first frozen embryo transfer and although I was very positive last week I have woken today with a negative attitude. I have short periods (24 day cycle) so today my period would normally be due, so every little twitch I run off to the toilet to check. I'm finding it hard to believe a pregnancy can result when I have had two negatives already. Reading through the forums does help but in the end its either going to happen or its not and this wait is driving me mad! Anyone out there feeling the same? Or anyone out there who didn't get pregnant from their normal IVF cycles but did from a FET? I could use some positivity.
