You can get post-partum bleeding for up to about 8 weeks though c/s usually is shorter. It's pretty common for walking etc to trigger a bit more off. As far as the scar discomfort goes, remember that you have two scars: one outside and one inside. I suspect the pain inside is where the inside is mending. Just take it easy tomorrow and I'm sure you'll be fine.

The blood was red but was very light as in only when I wiped and stopped after one day...I have already been on antibiotics for mastitis so was hoping that rules out infection!

Are your pains literally on your scar or below? Mine feel more below....

Thanks for your reply

I felt great after about a week and was pain free by 2 weeks. My midwife even signed me off to drive at 3 weeks. Last week I went to the mall and spent quite a bit of time walking around. I started getting a twingey stabbing type pain in my groin. My bleeding started again. I thought it was because I had done too much so I took it really easy the next day and the bleeding stopped. However, I am still having pains around my vagina and groin.....

Any advice greatly appreciated!
