I was on it for GD & had it several times a day. I never had any side effects...well that I remember.

im taking metformin 500mg once a day (started on the 20th so due to go up to 2x daily on the 4th oct)
but since ive started taking it my scalp itchyness (eczema) and hair falling out has gotten way worse.

anyone else had their eczema get way worse?

i tried metformin in June but was originally put on 1000mg once daily for 3 weeks then increase to 2 1000mg but had to stop after 2 weeks due to the other side effect - i lived in the toilet
but never noticed my scalp being worse

I dont know if maybe its seasonal and not related to the met but i have no idea.
