I think just make sure they're not having it every day and offer water afterward (if you're worried about the salt). We have been doing BLW for a while now and I'm just trying to add a bit more variety but am possibly a little obsessed with salt/sugar content of things.

I've been thinking of making some mini bacon and egg pies but was just wondering if it's ok to give bacon to a 10 month old or if it is too salty?

Also would corned silverside be ok or is that too salty?
