Yep take the smallest plant of the 2 out and compost it. Well that is what I do with them.

Best thing is to grow them in a block style garden, so that they can all fertilise one another. Plant two seeds together then take the smallest one out. Also grow in pairs and once they get to about 30cms get rid of the smallest of of the 2.

In lots of sun, and don't listen to them when they say they have to be far apart, they need each other to produce cobs. I have mine about 15cms apart.

Ive never grown corn before. I just sent DP to the garden shop to get some.

Where is the best place to grow it? Also any tips on how to grow good corn
