I will put all 8 tyres in a circle then cover over the top with black shade cloth stuff so I can still water but the black cloth will keep them warm. <br />Once they start growing they can grow over into the middle of the circle of tyres. Hopefully this way they will keep contained and protected from anything. Will see how we go with this. ]]>

I know they spread like pumpkins so was wondering the best way to try to contain them. Would stacking up some tyres work and planting them in there? <br />How many watermelons does one plant normally produce? <br />I am thinking they need to be in warm and kept well watered - can anyone confirm this for me? <br />Any help much appreciated! <br />Becs]]>
