We mixed ours and it was used as their watering for the day with it in it.

Yep, just a handful sprinkled around the base so it sort of leaches into the soil with each watering/rain shower.

If you prefer to mix it and water it in, just water the plant as usual, you don't need to worry about giving a specific 'dose'.

Will check with DH tonight but Im pretty sure he sprinkles his not mixed round the plants then waters them later...... I've just bought some for the first time.  Just the cheap stuff from the Warehouse at this stage - you mix one teaspoon with a litre of water.  I'm wondering how much you use.  As in once mixed, how much do you pour over each plant?  Is it just a little or am I essentially watering the plant with it??
