Was quite something.<br /><br />She was hungry, but not into her noddles. Ate her yogurt , which distracted her and fixed it, its hard when they do this, but normal too I guess.]]>

I don't usually shut the door, it's just enough to remove them from attention. When they come back for cuddles, that's great so long as the attitude has changed. Otherwise they go back :)]]>

Usually most tantrums about control by toddlers. We had so many battles!<br /><br />I don't think it is a girl thing, as our DD at 18 months is nothing at all like DS was.  Some kids are far more work than others<br /><br />In the end I bought a book on spirited children (I can look up the title if you like).  It gives you some ideas, but also encourages you to lower your expectations a little and it does talk about how these kids tend to turn into leaders as adults.<br /><br />Good luck!]]>

She cries half the day, and if she doesnt get her own way all hell breaks lose. DS never did this, he packed tantys but just normal ones...this is just full on!<br /><br />Is it a girl thing? <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0"> I just dont know how to deal with her anymore...is it normal behaviour?<br /><br />Right now she is having a tantrum and Im ignoring her because I dont know what else to do. ]]>
