So I sold all those and bought cheap OSFA pockets hehe, I didn't mind the bulkiness so much because the nappies contained everything so well and the microfleece stopped nappy rash.

They can go behind your cotton prefold, adding absorbancy without the extra bulk another folded prefold would add and are super absorbant.

Plus you will definity use them later on inside your OSFA pockets so isnt a waste of time/$$$ Ive seen them fairly cheap on TM, just rememer to wash them a few times coz they take a while to reach full absorbancy.

If you wanted to experiment, and your Itti's are SIO's, just pull the trifold bamboo booster out of it and use that, least then you will get an idea of bulk and the absorbancy you need.

I found one prefold wasnt enough for my heavy wetter. Prefolds are only cotton and although very absorbant theyre not as absorbant as say bamboo or hemp or microfibre.
I used a combo of these inserts with my newborn boy to see which worked better.
Cotton and Microfibre are fast absorbers so they are great to catch that first burst of wees but they dont lock it away so the nappy lasts longer and thats when hemp or bamboo does the job.
