We haven't had any choking or gagging yet. And I've found they're more interested if they see you doing it too]]>

Last week I did steamed red cod seasoned with lemon and dill and steamed carrots, courgettes, potato, orange kumara and broccoli and she ate the lot! Have put some pics up in the BLW photo album if you want to have a nosey at what others give their babies, pretty much imo once you start finger foods it's like BLW. ]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=22873">High9</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 37192<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 20 December 2010 at 10:10pm<br /><br />Also Plunket has a sheet with different examples of finger foods that are ok to give, just having a look some examples are:<br /><br />mandarin, kiwifruit, rice crackers, peach slices, pears, rice biscuits, bread sticks, raisins, sandwiches, pasta, cheese, peas, apple, cucumber, processed cheese, fish fingers, crackers, seedless grapes (halved), dried apricots, grated cheese, mouse traps (which judging by the pic looks like toast slice cut into 3 or 4 strips with marmite), avocado, prunes, pineapple rings, gruit biscuits, banana, broccoli, celery, carrots, nectarine, luncheon, cheese slices, orange... <br /><br />Lily's had everything off that list and sometimes we have last night's left over dinner heated up. ]]>

Now she'll very nearly drain her morning and night bottle (250ml cows milk) instead of drinking maybe 150ml of each one. Dinner I struggle with as dp works nights so I an home alone, I get home from work, then need to feed & bath her before I get a chance to get anything sorted for myself :(]]>
