Trader was Kiwibaby store so reliable and has been fantastic as a highchair (we don't have one yet, may not get one now in fact).

I definitely want one with a tray, our highchair is a wooden push up to the table one so not really suitable til they're older. (& it's still dd2y's territory).

He started using it quite young, as soon as he had good head control, I think at about 3mths. I would pop him in it outside in the garden under the trees whilst I hung the washing out and things like that! We also used it for feeding once he started solids! He never really liked his bouncy chair but he loved his Bumbo!

We don't actually have a high chair yet!

DS is bang on average, and fits in it snug, but seems to have a bit of room to grow, although when I pick him up it sometimes sticks to his bum Haha

We started using it from quite young, he was able to sit in it for 5 minutes to start of with just for the novelty, I think as long as they have good head control and you keep a really close eye on them they are ok.

I find it way better than the proper highchair at mums, cos the wee tray piece is actually at tummy height (so he can lean on it etc) rather than at eye height LOL! So its handy cos I can pop him in it and put food on the tray and leave him to it, while I eat next to him or something instead of having to sit there and hand him something each time he drops it!
