My darling son has just taken to reaching in and grabing poo out! We use a cloth nappy outer with the snaps on it, over the top of the nappy. My friend safety pinned (with big cloth nappy pins) her DD's nappy over the fasteners which worked a treat. In a bodysuit today - fingers crossed! Apparently 1/2 the kids at playcentre have done it too. One Mum has singlet bodysuits which she's giving me.

I would just put anything shorts or knickers over top. Hopefully will solve the problem.

I had my youngest come up to our bed at 3am and take his bloody nappy off....while still wearing his PJ shorts.

The little girl I look after has just been through this.

Her mum was getting really frustrated & started using nappy pants & then one day spoke to her about it & told her that she had to keep the nappy on or something like that & if she had the nappy on when she got up then she got big praise, she learnt very quickly. Shorts on top should work and the cloth nappies with snaps are a lot harder to undo than the others, if you need to! It's probably just a fun thing to do since she is undoing it before she wets. When my DD was in nappies I would always put shorts on over the top. I have heard some orror stories about dirty nappies being taken off in bed so I have always had pants on the boys at nap time so they can't get their nappy off.

I recommend shorts, bodysuit or knickers over the nappy

Bodysuits? I use bodysuits on DD still, only because my Mum just got me a whole heap more in size 2 but they stop her taking anything except her pants off

Its my week for questions. This ones a doozy....

DD (18 months) has for the last few days pulled off her nappy during her nap.javascript:AddSmileyIcon('')
(by all accounts she's done it when put to bed given the nappy was dry and the bed, and cuddly very wet).

This has meant she has woken up an hour earlier than usual as she must get to the point that she's wet and uncomfortable. I have been putting her to bed in a singlet and cotton sleeping bag with the sides undone and the fan on.

Possible solutions:
-putting her down with a coth nappy on as the domes seem harder to undo?
-put shorts on for sleeps

I guess maybe toilet training? - not sure if she's capable of holding it in tho.
