She is pretty bad that she will finish a 200 mls bottle and demand more! I water it down then. I think watering down part will be ok but when I actually take the bottle away...I would hate to think what thats going to be like!

Gosh Carriemum I wish I knew that about older toddlers getting attatched to bottles earlier
To me it always looks strange to see a toddler drinking out of a babies bottle.
Maybe hide the bottles so he can't see them? I know my DS loves his milk & if he sees his milk sippy cup he'll demand it. So I keep it hidden away in the dishwasher. My DS only has one 200ml sippy cup of milk per day. He is 20 months old.

Though usually he'd only have 2 in that time and one at bed.

When DS asks (he signs bottle) I give him water first and then offer a snack and sometimes that's enough. I also find if I try and put the bottles and formula tin out of sight he's not going to see them and ask for them as often.

He does drink water out of a normal cup but not so much formula. I think part of it is that he loves the ritual around the bottle - cuddles with mum/dad, his fav toy, snuggles - so it is a bit of a comfort thing.
