I'm done with #3 for more reasons than just multiple c-sections, so am opting for a tubal ligation this time.

As someone wise once told me, when you drop your kids off at school and look at the other kids, you cant tell whether they were born vaginally or by c-section, any more than you can tell if they were formula or breast fed so long as they come out healthy, thats the best outcome

My first two were emergencies, first was "normal" emergency, second was a "crash", we almost lost her. My pelvis is crap too, the front curves in like a guys instead of out like a girls, that's apparently the most common type of wonky pelvis, lol. I wish I could do it natural & it makes me sad, but electives are ok & alive babies are better. Your babies don't care how they get out!

My dreams of having a natural drug-free home birth have been shattered. The surgeon that did my last c-section said I have a very small and oddly shaped pelvis and didn't believe I would be able to give birth naturally unless the baby was very small. And as my last bub was 9lb 5oz I don't see it happening.

But hey, I am trying to tell myself that there are worse things in life to miss out on than pushing a large baby out of my vagina!

He said that methods are getting better all the time and while some people would have been seriously limited in the past, these days many women can have 10, 12 kids all via c/s. So your future plans should be okay...all your pregnancies from hereon are likely to be only 38 weeks long and make you the envy of all VB-ers!
