I recommend trying the NUK slow flow bottles and storage containers they are fantastic and the teets are slower flowing (more like the breast) then the Avent (which I also have and believe are fast flowing and the caps leak)

Yeah they are a pain!! When DD2 was only 2 weeks old I had to take older DD1 to a specialist apt (not the kind of apt that you change unless you want to wait 6 months for another one), it was at feed time for DD2 and I needed to be able to concentrate on what the dr was saying so I carefully expressed of the feed before I left, got to the waiting room with my mum and the kids and opened the bottle bag to find milk everywhere... I almost cried.... Stupid bottles!!

Yes! I could make them not leak by using the above mentioned technique but DH always had a mess everywhere when mixing them up. Couldn't be bothered with them so no longer use them. Are you using them without the ring in? Arghhh!!! My Avent bottles all leak! I have already complained and had them replaced and they refuse to replace them again. Im talking about the BPA free bottles with the anti-colic ring.
