Author: Shelt
Subject: 38215
Posted: 31 March 2011 at 12:16pm

I have exactly the same problem iceland. Gabrielle is adament about what she wants to wear and when. We have arguments every single morning because she has two pairs of shoes - one for daycare and one pair for home. She always wants to wear the shoes for home on daycare days and vice versa. It wouldn't matter so much if I hadn't paid 3 times the price for the home shoes...I have learnt my lesson now. I won't bother buying expensive shoes again and then it wont matter if she wears them to daycare and ruins them.

If I buy nice clothes and I don't want them worn to daycare I hide them and tell her they are in the wash and wet so she can't wear it. Its easier than the arguments.

She also doesnt like wearing jerseys but I haven't figured out a way round that one yet. Maybe I will have to layer up the clothes in winter instead.

It was actually DH that taught him to get dressed and look for the tag or picture on the inside of clothes so he knows what way to put them, also I think to lay them out which makes it easier. So Jack very rarely gets it wrong now
