Logan at 5.4kg has finally got chubby enough legs to fit his small ittis, glad I didn't get anymore as he'll probably be in his meds soon. I got him a couple of LE for christmas (wo-bot and gerry). DD wants them so I've had to hide them from her as there is no way she'd fit meds and she's close to TT anyway.

Well she is a single mum, her toddler is pretty cuisey, so far her baby sleeps quite well at 3/4 stretches. She also encapsulated her placenta so has lots of happy hormones/pills to keep her going. I've heard about EC but I love buying cute nappies too much to do it although DS did poo on the toilet the other day lmao. In other words he was having nappy off time, and I saw him starting to poo and didn't have a cloth handy so held him over the loo. He wasn't too impressed about that though

Has anyone seen any Galaxy tuttos around? Everywhere I've looked has sold out of only those ones. Was thinking of sneakily getting one of them hehe. Although don't really need to, am waiting for the new pop in prints, I want the turtles and the monkeys ones

Well bumping this back up again!

I am staying with a friend, she had her baby on Friday morning and I caught him on his speedy way out! One push and he come shooting out with all the waters into my hands/floor! She is doing EC (elimination communication) where you toilet them from birth.

It is SOOOOOOO easy to do! Yesterday we caught almost all of his day pee's (only missed two due to us being busy with toddlers). He wakes, stirs, cries, we hold him over a potty and go "psssss" and he pees, then he has his feed and what not and often will go again before bed! The poo's are another story so far as he doesnt have a cue that we can see as yet, its just a matter of guessing. He still has nappies on overnight, and will have something over him while he is sleeping, but is esentially bare bumed all day.

Me either...but what I don't like is all the hoopla and drama about them being produced in such limited quanities, 'got to get them before they sell out' business...it's really not necessary when it's so obviously not true!

I managed to sneak in 1 daquiri tutto with the super cheap pop ins for night time that I actually needed to get. DP actually doesn't know I got another itti Tutto yet..hmmm.

Thats what happened to me last time at tweeedle. I got right to the confirm order, and they were all out of stock. Guttered, then I had to search who still had some and managed to get te last couple from cheeky cherubs. This time I went straigth to itti bitti I was only getign one so it was just a few clicks.

We ended up getting Gerry, Wo-bott, and Daiquiri, and a daiquiri change matt.
I was gutted I missed out on getting them through Tweedle though, I had them in my cart and was about to click Pay Now and they got updated as "out of stock", so ended up getting them through Itti Bitti direct.

Oh and I got Tutto's, so they can be used on both kids. I haven't used AIO's before, so hopefully they fit them well.

Thesaff you can still get some of the last LEs, and the new ones are released on Sun 30. Cheeky Cherubs have 10% of the last LEs, until end of week.

Ewwwww maggots!! Maggots are my all time nightmare. I can deal with anything else but gah, even the thought of maggots has me squirming in my seat. I only do every 2nd day, might have to do them every day now it's getting warmer to avoid that!

Esmesmum we're still in sposies here too. I tried Tali in both the bummis covers and small itt's last week but they still gaped at the leg. But he's fattening up nicely now and we've probably only got another 2 days of sposies left so then we'll move to cloth properly.

I wanted just a couple of those new release ittis but seems like I missed out. Maybe there'll be a few appear on trademe like they did last time.

What is that site that sells material? I want to make a whole lot more liners and our local spotlight doesn't have anything appropriate.

Thanks Wriggles, I'm not too upset about using sposies as he can't fit any of my NB clothes with cloth on so it means I'm getting some wear out of them. DD fitted her NB clothes for about 8 weeks.

Prefolds and covers should work good. When doing up the velcro you can miss a bit like you would miss a snap on an itti if he is that skinny. Thanks everyone, everything is going well so far. Any tips on nappies for bubs with little legs, I'm finding it hard to get a good fit at the moment so he's mainly in sposies to save on washing. He's quite long and skinny. My small ittis fit ok but I only have 2 of them. Haven't tried my prefolds and covers yet as we're still not home, we decided to stay in Hamilton at the ILs for a few days so I had some extra help with both kids. That second babies being bigger is not really true. DS was 8lbs 1oz and DD was 7lbs 6oz, not much difference though.

Thanks everyone.

Wriggles I had a scan a few days earlier that estimated his weight as 7lb14oz, MW didn't think he'd be that big. We though 8lb something. He's quite long too, 55cm, he's not going to be in NB things for very long!

It was much easier LA even with being induced, was quite intense due to it being quite quick though. Esme was posterior and induced as well so that made it trickier. I had to push for 2 hours with her, this time he was out in 3. My second stage is recorded as 0 minutes. His head was significantly bigger too, I have no tearing or anything so I'm recovering a lot quicker compared to last time. I was intact with Esme as well but quite bruised.

On the tutto them.... mine seem to have given up the ghost. My daughter has started peeing through them in half an hour flat. to start off with I thought it was her drinking lots more. But shes no longer drinking as much at once and its still happening.

Any ideas of what to do to try and resurrect them? You are right - there will be 1 shipment of the new prints - there was only a 2nd of the last lot for the P&C Show.

Not sure I believe entirely, that would mean a whole lot less nappies than any other LE run, there have always been plenty to go around.

She is awesome, she brought me some prefolds and covers for DD before she was born too.

She's said that just to let her know if I want anymore especially if they go on sale. Feel a bit guilty asking for any more knowing that she went a bit nuts on clothes for DD. There was pretty much a whole summer wardrobe for her in the parcel!

Although if I miss out on the 2 LEs I want this time then she'll be able to get them for me. I just saw that what they get this time will be it. There's 2 sessions one at 9.30 and one at 10.30. We go to the 9.30 one. But I try (which is hardly ever) to get there around 9.15 so they can have a little play before gettign into the singing. She's old enough. THey have a box of toys for little babies and ride on cars and stuff, theres quite alot really.

LOL my mum wouldn't either. She does however only buy the kids PP clothes. When we were kids we'd get one PP outfit each a season. So now she does that with my kids LOL.

It sounds like the last lot of LE were delayed for some reason which is why these new ones seem to be out so soon. I only got one LE in the last lot and will get a couple this time. Totally agree MamaT - I think there should be such a limited number that they don't get to go on sale because they sell out! There are so many 'new' LE prints on trademe all the time where people are buying them and on selling them...probably trying to make a profit, but ending up selling for less because the market is so flooded with the prints already.
Like the last LE (only a couple of months ago) - tuttos sold out within a few hours and so itti bitti and the retailers get in another shipment!

Limited Editions aren't really limited anymore are they? When I first discovered ittis the ltd's came out very rarely and there was never a huge amount of them, whereas these days every 2nd person has them and they are coming out so regularly it is kind of loosing the appeal.

I like the Eton one but not really fussed on any of the others... I have a giraffe print Baby Blush that I just love (and it looks great on DS) so won't get the itti one. Don't like robots or the stars one for DS and the flowery one is far too girly. Great to have a few boy options for a change though!!

I do think it's really soon for new prints, but I guess it's about getting people to part with their money!! I'm not sure I'm going to rush to buy the Eton though - wait a couple of months and they go on sale!

Ok so now I've seen all of them, I'm definitely getting wo-bott and gerry tuttos. I said a while ago (I think in here) that they need to bring out a giraffe print and now they have!!! YAY! Te Aroha doesn't have a hospital where you can birth but morrinsville does. It's personal choice. The ILs will have DD and I had her over here so it's a familiar place. Good idea EM to be staying with the IL while so close to labour, that drive wouldn't be nice. Hi LA, we'll pretty much be cloth from birth, we'll start with prefolds and covers and move into other nappies once baby has grown out of them. I'm currently in Hamilton but we live in Te Aroha. We decided staying at the ILs was a good idea so we don't have to travel too far while in labour.

That sucks about not being able to put DD into DC, I take DD to playcentre, we started at about 6 months, now it's almost like her going to DC as she goes off and plays without me mostly. She loves painting and messy play and it is great for her to be able to do that, the other parents are great and include her in all the other activities. I think I need to buy a new nappy to get me motivated for using cloth again. We have been having issues with the inlaws water pump for about a month now, so have had to resort to disposables, but now that it's consistently been okay for about a week, it's time I went back to cloth. Hopefull you don't go to far over. I was 6 d OD with DS then 10 with DD, so much for saying second babies are earlier. It was certainly a quicker birth though.

I need some itti wipes. I want coloured ones though, for faces. I've using muslin cloths for Dsand DD, but they're all starting to go pink, . No matter how much I soak bleach wash them then still don't go white. So itti wipes seem much nicer. And beacues of the sale I'l get them now I think.

I've just had my rocking green, green scoop and red ittti wet bag arrive. Yay. Wet bag is for DS kindy bag, THey seem to run out of plasitc bags at kindy. Its red to match his lightning bag. Thanks Wriggles, Chic cheeks sale goes until Sunday so I'm holding out for as long as possible. I also need to see what colours my mum got me in the itti sale in Aussie.

Although this baby doesn't seem to be in a hurry to arrive. Doesn't look like I'm going to get to buy girly/boy colours in the specials. 5 days over and the little monkey isn't engaged or making moves to enter the world. My moo moo came in the mail - awesomeness! It looks in pretty good condition as well (They said it had only been used six times...
