I have a small non reclining jolly jumper stroller. DS sleeps fine. But I too wish it had a basket but we cope without it. I have the cheapest Jolly Jumper one I could find from Farmers, got it when my son was about 6 months old and he likes it so much better than the expensive full sized reclining stroller we got from BabyCity. We actually have two cheap Jolly Jumper models and one of them seems to be more comfortable for my son than the other...one seems to make him sit up more straight and the seat is less deep than the other. Anyway, my advice would be to sit your child in a couple of strollers in the shop if at all possible, it maybe be obvious right away that one is less comfortable than another. Oh I have that problem a lot. We ended up buying a chicco stroller cause I found phil & ted etc i just kicked all the time and had to lean forward! But will have to be super wary as need to get an umbrella stroller for a holiday later this year with a 7month old.

I have one I borrowed from Mum, so it's a few years old. One thing I thought worth mentioning though - mine doesn't recline, and I don't miss that a bit. I know Kmart does one for $30 and it's pretty basic like the ones you can hire from most malls.

We have a Quicksmart stroller and I got it on sale for $100 from Farmers about 9 months ago. It's been great but doesn't recline all the way! But very small and compact.

hi :-) i just travelled to sydney with my 15 month old and had to buy a stroller to take with us.

i went looking at a few different models, one being a childcare rover that a friend recommended. i ended up buying a milano one that reclines so that my boy was able to lie back and sleep while we were out and about. it is/was awesome! i got it from babycity for around $180.

only real recommendation i can suggest is buying one that reclines. it just gives you the option of them having a little snooze while you're sightseeing or shopping.
