I have the same with our nappies.  Every now and then they end up having a dryer dry for various reasons (we don't have a dryer either) and it softens them up a lot for a while.  <br />Also make sure they're totally clear of detergent.  I usually put ours through an extra rinse cycle.  ]]>

Our towel towels are always really rough because they're line dried. Time in the drier = yummy fluffy towels!]]>

I always dry our towels in the dryer because otherwise they go stiff and crunchy...probably the same with nappies made out of towelling.<br />Or reduce the spin speed on your washing machine so they don't dry so fast?]]>

They are generally washed with a bit of ecostore powder and line dried.]]>
