If dh would agree then I would sell the swift and buy an urban jungle.
I love the swift, fits everywhere, even shops where I see other prams struggling, its light, great manoeuvrability, doesn't struggle on any terrain. Only thing I don't like is ds is exactly 50% on plunket charts for a 7 a month yet is almost near the top of the pram.

Edited by fairy1

I'm planning to do a few walks & then runs (heres hoping!) and the Urban has rear suspension, 12in tyres (vs 10in on the Swift), longer handle height(by 5cm), and 4cm longer wheel base.

The advantages of the Swift are that it's light & compact.

I personally wouldn't have wished it any smaller, somehow you get by in shops. I'm not a huge shopper though, DS is not patient enough - typical boy.

If you do a lot of mall shopping, how about a cheap umbrella stroller?

Sounds like you might regret the Swift if your son grows out of it quickly.

It makes easy work of roughish terrain (I use it more of the time in the city, and thought perhaps it was overkill, but have found that it makes walking anywhere a lot smoother). I do use it on Mum and Dad's farm too. Jacob's got heaps of room - again, I can't compare the two, only say that ours works great.

If only I could fit two babies in it! We're going to have to trade it in

ETA that I have an umbrella stroller I take into town when I'm shopping because it would be a hassle - but I don't know if the Swift would be that much better... it's still bigger than an umbrella stroller and they're cheap and easy to keep in the car for trips to shops.

Edited by Hopes

Anyone have either of these and can offer some advice?

The Swift is attractive because it's that much smaller so seems like it will be much easier to manuevre in shops etc, but the Jungle attracts because it seems a little more sturdy and with it's bigger size seems more likely to be easily accommodate him until he's a toddler - we've seen photos of a one year old in the Swift and it already looked like it was getting a little cosy!

Thanks :)
