I'd personally wait until she tells you herself.. Speaking from experience, I found it really hard when people I hadn't specifically told would ask/console me about DD. Its one of those things that you tell people when you want them to know.. Hi

A friend of mine has recently been told that her DS2 (aged 1.5yrs) has a physical and mental disability.   She may never walk, and will have trouble learning, but they don't know to what extent at the moment.

My friend and her husband sent an email to close family members explaining the situation. It was one of these people who got the email that told me.

I was wondering, do you think it would be a good idea for me to call and offer support, or wait until she tells me herself?
