I know that fats and proteins do break down at high temperatures but if the food has already been cooked can't imagine it would be much different?? I do the same too, cook in bulk and freeze...]]>

But you could try defrosting slowly (take the meal out in the morning ) and then heat up on the stove top? I think if you freeze the meal quickly and then heat in the microwave without plastic (gladwrap etcI you should be fine. ]]>

I do the same - defrost and warm in the microwave. I can't imagine that it does any damage to the food. After all - adults heat and eat all the time?]]>

My fear is that the freezing then microwaving may be killing off any nutrition in the meals! Does anyone know what the impact of this processing is on the nutritional value of the food? Thanks]]>
