Same for me, i was told after bleeding, but before ovulation, so between 5th and 10th day, but surely they can tell you this at the hospital as well when u ring for an appointment. I had mine done in a hospital in Auckland and it took me 5 cycles to get an appointment...very frustrating. Mine was through public funding, so don't know how much they will be.

Mine cost $500 in Auckland but I claimed it back on medical insurance. I was told it had to be done after AF but before ovulation. Hi, I thought you had a window to get the Xray done like day 5 - 10???
Anyway I had one done and it cost about $400.00 inc gst here in chch

Hey I have a question,
I have been referred to my nearest hospital to have an HSG test done but the radiologist is only there once a month and for the last two months it hasn't fallen on the 10th day of my cycle. ( i hope im making sense).
Has anyone done this test privately and if so how much did it cost.
