We put one of these on ds bed yesterday. I've heard of people using those long pool noodles under the mattress or the fitted sheet. Hi there, we have just folded 2 towels in half and then rolled them up and put them on the edge of the bed under the fitted sheet (so similar to the bed bumper). I have another alternative that I've used with both my boys. All I do is put two pillows underneath the fitted sheet, on the side where they could fall out (end to end so it's kinda like that Bed Bumper, but is under the sheet and is a bit wider). It's brilliant because it's free if you have a couple of spare pillows, and it's nice and cosy for them. Yknow what I did- and Ill prob get into trouble from someone here.... But I went to the local tip shop, and bought 2xwooden bedheads... single size.... and screwed them to the end and side of the bed... creating a barrier. Works a treat, and actually looks really great! cost me $10.
