He is so nosey at the moment and it is at home too! If I talk/have a drink/sneeze he pops off and gives me this *look* as if to say what! Quiet please. Very difficult to get a decent feed into him and is making the nights very long at the moment

I would try introducing a cuddly that you have just for BFing so he focus's on that rather than whats going on around him. My girl will now happily feed while out and about.

    Author: Tan1
Subject: 40812
Posted: 19 October 2011 at 4:44pm

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else has problems with their baby getting very easily distracted when breast feeding?!

My almost 6 month old son is almost impossible to feed when we are out and if there is any noise around. He comes off the breast constantly to look around and the other day when we were at the beach he just refused to take the breast and got quite upset when I tried a few times to feed him. This was after 5 hours had passed since his last breast feed!

Does anyone else have the same problem? It can be very frustrating and embarrassing when we are out and I end up with milk everywhere! I can laugh about it afterwards though
