Dressing Toddler for bed : We use pjs and lamington socks...

We use pjs and lamington socks pulled right up so she cant get them off. DD doesnt sleep under and blankets either >.<

DD kicks her blankets off too. She's in flannel pj's, was in socks up until recently, and wears a 0.5 tog sleeping bag. Anything more than that and she wakes up hot and sweating. Will change to cotton pj's soon.

I have some cotton all-in-ones that were given to me that are 18m. The look very thin though, so might still be a little cold for them.
I'm pretty sure my aunty got them from the warehouse.
I have to keep my DS in a sleeping bag or all in one for the same reason. He is very anti socks!

DS went througha stage like that - I dressed him in a merino ls top and tights (or longjohns ). Pjs as well if necessary, depending on weather. But merino breathes well,so regulates temp.

flannel pjs for both the boys here with polyprop underneath and a retuck in before we go to bed though that only helps til they kick everything off again its colder down here at night though so they wear socks - double layers sometimes and DS2 goes into a sleeping bag if its going to be particularly chilly coz hes the one that takes his socks and pj pants off and turns into an icicle! Its a pain huh? If its any help at all they do grow out of it abit. DS1 has gone from a dang awful sleeper to one who does actually stay under his blankets after we do the last tuck-in before we go to bed.

Socks are a thing that are getting my goat at the moment. Size 2-4 are tiny, size 5-8 are huge. Is there seriously nothing in between?

For socks, have you tried Lamington's? They are merino so nice and warm, and go up to the knee so are good if the PJ's ride up the leg during the night. My DD just wears flannel PJ's and if she is warm I find her pretty much out of the bed, but she will snuggle down if she gets cold.

Flannel pjs here. It was with socks and a merino long sleeve dome-up singlet until recently but the house is kept pretty warm with a newborn in it. She took her socks off if she got too hot.

My girl has a long sleeved body suit and flannelette PJ's. She always takes her socks off. If he is not waking cold then I wouldnt worry to much. I would just get a long top that can tuck into pants, and maybe another over top, its only going to get warmer over the next few months. Last year she just slept in a short sleeved body suit until I went to bed and put a light blanket on her

What is everyone else dressing their toddlers in for bed these days?

DS' room is about 18 - 20 degrees. He will not sleep under any bedding (in fact he usually sleeps with his feet at on his pillow, or fully across the bed).

We've got some polarfleece all-in-ones, which I think are too hot now. Otherwise it's PJs with his feet out - I worry his feet get cold, and he's too cold in general - but I can't find any cotton all-in-ones in his size. I've tried the sleep store, but they won't get more till next autum.

What do you do if your little one won't stay under covers?
