Also have some small fuzzibunz which he almost fits, but we have to be careful with leakage around the legs as he has no thigh chub (def doesn;t take after his mumma!)

eta - DD started out in old school cloth nappies using the pinless fold, they worked really well, and caught everything as they cover more leg. Just not as nice under clothes as MCNs. Also the flats tend to get pretty wet pretty quickly, so had to change them frequently

Edited by squoggs

We had a few pocket nappies too but the fitted plus cover system was really reliable and we very rarely had any leaks.
YoYo covers are great as they have a double leg gusset, and Jan does a newborn hire/trial pack which is great as we needed a newborn size, but couldn't really use them beyond the four months when we returned it. They're based in Nelson and all nappies & covers are NZ made.

I would use them again with a different cover, like Thirsties with the leg gussets. Absolutely bomb-proof combination.

They are so so soft on a newborn bum!

Edited by Jaune
