We haven't used ours yet, but we have a Safe & Sound one. They will replace your carseat if you get into a crash.

It will depend on your budget really. There are carseats with all the bells and whistles but if you can't afford one there isn't any point in getting one, doesn't mean that the cheaper plainer ones are any less good.

I am moving to Russia and want to buy a carseat in NZ for my 6 month old baby. I have looked at various reviews but there is a lot of conflicting advice.
