It can seem like an enternity on the couch with your boob out but this, like everything else will pass and you will miss it!]]>

Then we demand feed at night.<br /><br />Day 2 of doing this, and she slept from 12.45 - 6.15am! Was fantastic.<br /><br />MW had suggested doing this as she was having long naps during the day, and by waking her during the day, she's moved her long naps to the nighttime.]]>

Tummy's are so little at this age so they need to feed more often. ]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=32234">SethsMama</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 41423<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 27 January 2012 at 1:20pm<br /><br />When I moved DS to a routine, I did it without any set times in mind.<br />Basically he was in a cycle of sleep, feed, tummy-time/cuddles, sleep feed...etc..<br />At around 6/7pm after a wee bit of tummy time he would get a bath then another feed before sleep, then every waking after that was just feed (change if needed) quick cuddle then sleep until morning.<br />I did that to differentiate between night and day.<br />He moved into the routine really well.<br />That's what worked for me, but every baby is different.<br />Hope that helps!<br /><br />Oh he was 4weeks old when I switched from demand feeding.]]>

If you can bear it, just go with him.<br /><br />But I have friends who follow Gina Ford's Contented Little Baby book. It's fairly regimented but works for them.]]>
