Thanks Caronz. Yes my post wash numbers with DI have been well under 5 mill. Like 3.2, 3.7. 4.2. Those kind of numbers. Im pretty sure the count was after washing. They did an u/s to check number of follies when I was on clomid but just blood tests to get the timing right. I know it works as my first DI I got pregnant and when trying for #2 I got pregnant with the 2nd DI. IVF is different for everyone, there are some lovely ladies on here in the IVF group who are alot wiser then me. but if you have any questions feel free to ask and Ill do my best to answer

Thanks for your reply Caronz. I need to lose a heap of weight, probably a good 20kg. Was that count AFTER the wash (Post Wash). ?? Also did they do an u/s to check your follies after the DI? To make sure you timed it right? THat's one thing that annoys me is there is no follow up to actually check I ovulated. The last DI we did 2 back to back after the trigger. The 2nd at my insistence. I would love to talk to you about your IVF experience. 6 DI natural and 4 with clomid, I didnt really respond to drugs so they kept upping it and still only got 1 good one and v small 2nd. Had to trigger every time on drugs too.
We have 1 "sample" left and have just started IVF. One last try. I am 40 and over weight which doesnt help. Our DI counts were usually about 6-8 million but not one of them managed to find their way :(

Hi, wow you have done 10 rounds of IUI that must have been difficult. I have only done 3 DI. Did you do all 10 of yours without Clomid? I did Clomid on the last 2. The first one with 50mg Clomid which didn't do anything cos I still had 1 folli like normal. the next one I had 100mg CLomid and had 2 good follies. This one they triggered me with Ovidrel too.

We only have a few vials left so are going to decide in the next couple of weeks to probably go for IVF next. How old are you? I am almost 39 so this is a major factor to not muck around with anymore IUI's. Also do you know the post wash count for your IUI? All of mine seem incredibly low compared to oveaseas protocols. Has anyone done both? What was your experence?
