November last year and we have had four accidents since. Still has a change form undewrwear to a diaper when he has his nap but it is usually dry and he goes to the toiket straight after he is awake. Not too fussed about the night TT, he is still 2.5yrs

Might be that you encourage that.

The main thing I hated about the potty is it getting accidentally knocked over. If you do put the potty in the bathroom make sure it is well out of the way so you or DH don't kick it over in the middle of the night.

She has a potty next to her bed in her room because the closest toilet to her room is in the bathroom that you have to go through my room to get to. She won't go to the toilet at night by herself anyway (or the potty) but she often uses the potty by her bed first thing in the morning.

Potty in the bathroom sounds like a good idea though

Our toilet is not really the best for her to take herself to at night if she needed to go for various reasons, the whole set up could be a bit of an issue and not something we could alter to 'fix'.
What do you do in that case?

ETA there is a good chance we will be moving halfway through next year which could solve the problem (if we were to shift to a better house), but I guess that depends if she night time toilet trains before then. When do they usually do that (I know if varies hugely, but roughly)?

Edited by KerryLea
