Be very careful using Lux Flakes Mrs Mac - they coat the fibres and build up very quickly affecting absorbency and causing smells. I use a mix of washing soda, baking soda and Lux flakes (1:1:2), they come out beautifully soft. My research said it's good for the environment and better than unknown chemicals on baby's skin. What do you guys think of washing soda?

Do you reckon it's ok just to use that & cannistan to wash my nappies? I've used it the last couple of washes cause I've run out of Rocking green & my nappies have gone soft again! We've got super hard water so maybe this could be a majic combo for us here????????????
