The wealthy mum's in the suburb I live in who have 2 young one's tend to have the MB double stroller, but they also have people movers.

No way that was practical for me. Plus, gosh they take up a lot of room on the footpath!

I just watched a few Youtube videos on it. Nope those seats don't recline.

Also, seems like it not that roomy leg wise, for the toddler, while baby is in the back.

Yeah I did nosey at the MB+1 today when I was in Baby City and yeah, doesn't look like those seats do recline. Surely though there must be an option to use it as a normal mountain buggy, with straps and recline if it was used as a single buggy. Or else, that's a lot of money to pay for it!

Yeah, my nearly 3 yr old(she turns 3 in Feb 2012) still fits in it fine. She actually wants to go in the pram even! Which for her is a shock. I think it's the novelty of a different pram though maybe. Or maybe it's just more comfy. As she was being a bit difficult at times when I had the MB.

I've actually heard some not so great things about the MB+1, apparently neither seats have any recline once baby is out of the NB mode, so I don't think you're missing out there.

Does your 3 y/o still fit the P&T? I was wondering how much a 3 y/o would go in a pram? I too was looking at the option of just the MB and a frontpack. But had it suggested, that more often baby would probably be in pram. I love MB. But I couldn't afford any of the double options, like the MB+1.

As this baby was a surprise.

I looked at all the options on Trade Me and ended up getting a Phil & Ted's E3 stroller with double kit.

I like that it has about 3 options for where to mount double kit.

I actually find it gives me more boot space and my nearly 3 yr old loves it and it's nice and compact. Actually gives me more boot room then the MB.

The ultimate pram debate ...
If I get UTD soonish, I would have a 3 y/o and a NB, I would quite like to get a Mountain Buggy, deciding between
MB Duo - larger side by side
MB Duet - smaller double
MB Urban Jungle - mid size single

I do use my current one mostly for walking, not really in town, I was thinking I'd get a twin umbrella stroller for town.
It's important to me that my daughter won't outgrow It too quickly, shes tall for her age.

I was debating just getting a single pram and putting Bub in the front pack, but some Mum's I've talked to have said they've found that uncomfortable.

So much to consider, I just don't want to end up with a double that DD outgrows and then I've no need for one, I'm leaning towards the Duet, but would be concerned her being too tall for it, I know you can't use the clip on scooter with a NB is the lie flat position on the Urban Jungle

I've looked at the City Select but it just seems waaaay too long with 2 kiddies!
