Christchurch is definitely a great place to live! and it can only get better, as we re-build. Yes we do still feel the odd aftershock, no they would not scare a young child (unless mum is jumpy and puts the child on edge). Play groups and classes are mostly still running to keep things as normal for kids as possible. Hi there

My hubby is looking at a job in Christchurch. We have 1 toddler and a baby on the way. Just wondering what it's like down there at the moment post earthquakes? Are the aftershocks still enough to scare young kids? Or has enough time past that its not so much of an issue these days?
