She wont use the potty but I got an insert for the toilet seat bout $5 from K-Mart which makes her feel secure sitting on the big toilet. We are going thru lots of nickers and pants each day but its worth doing it at their pace. I spoke to someone at the Parent & child show and they said they can be up to 3 1/2 before they recognise when they need to go. Give it a go you cant loose anything and good luck!

Just knowing when they need to go doesnt always mean they are ready, there are a number of signs to look for. In saying all that there is no harm in trying her and as you say with the warmer weather it will be much easier.

Bought him a little seat that fits in the loo and he liked it, but didn't like the way his legs dangled so we put a stool in front for him to rest his legs on. Now he is good and doesn't need that stool. Anyway, he sits and goes when we ask him, but still has accidents once or twice a day.
as a reward he gets a stamp on his hand, or up his arm. We are planning to get him a star chart once he is having full dry days. To tell the truth, people have said that we may have been starting a bit early. But we figure it's quite hot here, we have a new washing machine, and he's outside most of the time anyway. I think we will be a while training him, while others i know have started later and had more success in a few days.
Personally I would say she is tyoo young, but then i don't know her, so it's a bit difficult to judge. if she is outside anyway, i would say go for it.
