My daughter had this when she was a similar age. Once the blisters pop then they aren't contagious anymore. This can take up to a week depending on how severe the HFM is. But apparently it an live in their poo for 3 weeks I think so just be extra cautious to clean your hands after change time. My 15 month old has hand foot and mouth disease. Think he picked it up at daycare. He's fussy with food and pretty cranky. And he's got a rash all over his body. Went to doc last night.
